  CAPTAIN MIKE & CHEF/MATE LIZZY

  Mike and Lizzy can’t wait to share their love and knowledge of the Caribbean and all it has to offer! Their excitement is contagious. They met racing yachts in their home waters over 10 years ago. After cruising around the Mediterranean; Greece, Croatia, France, and the Amalfi coast they turned their love of sailing into a full-time career: moving to the British Virgin Islands to run crewed yacht charters in 2014.

  With 100+ charters to their names, Mike and Lizzy have taken their guests sailing not only in the Virgin Islands but also in other amazing locations including St Martin-St Barths-Anguilla, Antigua-St Kitts & Nevis, Martinique-St Lucia, and the unforgettable St Vincent and the Grenadines-Grenada.

  Mike and Lizzy pride themselves on making guests feel safe, welcomed, and pampered with their friendly, warm, professional approach and eye for detail, leaving you with nothing to do except focus on the beauty of your surroundings and enjoy your holiday of a lifetime! Mike loves the ocean and has been sailing all his life. His passion has gained him a list of maritime credentials and a wealth of knowledge on sailing and motor yachts. He likes to pass on his enthusiasm to everyone on board, encouraging and teaching others more about sailing. A great sense of humor combined with an open and relaxed manner, not to mention his skills behind the bar, ensures Mike gets all guests to enjoy every moment aboard.

  Lizzy grew up cooking with fresh local produce in her family farm kitchen before her adventurous spirit took her to university, where she learned to sail, and then around the world by land and sea! Her experiences influence her cooking and expand her repertoire. She added some finishing touches at the prestigious Ashburton Chefs Academy in the U.K., and now delights in 2 of her passions – serving up beautiful tasty food she knows her guests will adore and sailing!

  Cannot Recommend This Crew Enough

  Everything about the trip was amazing! The food was spectacular: every single meal was new and so delicious. I ate too much because I couldn't stop eating the food chef prepared. Captain did a spot-on job of keeping us away from crowds, finding the best snorkeling spots and setting us up for stunning sunsets. I cannot recommend this crew and the Sandy Cinco enough. The service was perfect, and they know how to give the best BVI experience. We can't wait to come back!

  Once In A Lifetime Trip

  The most magical few days. From snorkeling in calm, amazingly blue waters to climbing over rocks and through caves at The Baths, you are the best hosts. Chef's food was beautifully presented and tasted even better. Captains stories and directions were spot on! Even the rain did not dampen our trip. Thanks for a lovely holiday!
  Celebrating Kate’s birthday on the boat on the boat was special! The crew made sure the day was a memory not to be forgotten. Thanks for the decorations and the birthday cheesecake: Wow!!!

  We Loved Every Minute Of It!

  Thank you for a magical time in the BVI. You handled having 2 agendas perfectly. The snorkels and hikes were beautiful and it made us appreciate your islands so much more. Much love to you both. All joking aside, when “the heat goes out of the sun” it was my favourite time of the day! What an amazing trip; A helluva helmsman and a great chef. We loved every minute of it – you both were great to us and the food was exquisite!

  Wonderful Week

  Wonderful week with three boisterous children. The chef managed to feed myself, a fussy eater, and a difficult child (well done).
