  Dylan McGovern is a highly skilled and experienced maritime professional with a passion for sailing that began in his childhood. With over 20,000 nautical miles of sailing experience, Dylan’s career spans the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and beyond, showcasing his versatility and deep knowledge of global yachting. He holds prestigious certifications, including RYA Yachtmaster Offshore 100GT, RYA Cruising Instructor, and SAMSA Commercial Endorsement, underscoring his expertise in navigation, vessel safety, and seamanship. Dylan’s extensive career includes managing 45+ foot catamarans and monohulls as a professional skipper in Croatia, delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring vessel safety and maintenance. His offshore racing experience in South Africa has further honed his technical skills and adaptability, and he played a pivotal role in constructing a 55-foot charter catamaran now operating in the Caribbean, adding a practical dimension to his maritime expertise. In addition to his sailing accomplishments, Dylan served as a sailing instructor at the Royal Natal Yacht Club in South Africa, providing comprehensive keelboat training and fostering a culture of safety and performance. His hands-on leadership and dedication to mentoring aspiring sailors reflect his commitment to excellence and continuous professional development.

  Rebecca’s comprehensive training includes certifications in food safety, first aid, and yacht service, equipping her with the expertise to maintain the highest standards of care and professionalism. Having sailed extensively around South Africa, she has developed a keen adaptability to new environments and challenges, allowing her to seamlessly integrate into the dynamic world of luxury yachting. Known for her warm demeanor and exceptional organizational skills, Rebecca excels in creating memorable guest experiences. Whether preparing gourmet meals, managing interior spaces, or ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, she embodies the spirit of excellence that defines Crystal Dreams.   Dreaming Of Our Next Trip

  We just returned from a week aboard Crystal Dreams in the BVI, and we’re already dreaming of our next trip. The captain made every moment at sea feel safe and effortless. His knowledge of the islands meant we discovered hidden coves and pristine beaches we’d never have found on our own.
  
  The chef's culinary skills were out of this world! Every meal was to die for—from fresh seafood dinners to indulgent desserts. She even accommodated my husband’s gluten intolerance with ease.

  Family Friendly Charter

  We booked Crystal Dreams for a family trip, and it was the best decision ever. The captain was wonderful with our kids, letting them help steer the boat and teaching them about marine life. He even found the perfect snorkeling spots where we swam with turtles and vibrant fish.
  
  The chef kept us well-fed with her incredible cooking! The kids loved her homemade pizzas, and we adults were spoiled with her gourmet meals. She also created kid-friendly snacks for our adventures, which was such a thoughtful touch.
  
  This was a family vacation we’ll never forget. If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly charter experience, Rebecca and Dylan are the ones to book with!

  We Will Be Back

  Captain and Chef were just fantastic! They were constantly attentive to our needs while still providing the relaxed and fun vacation we asked for. Their planning and execution on all fronts was top notch. The catamaran was in excellent condition and all amenities were there when needed. We cannot say enough about how fantastic this trip was! We will be back and hopefully with with them again!!

  Amazing Trip

  We could not have asked for a more amazing trip! The boat is perfect and so comfortable. The itinerary was wonderful and we enjoyed the beaches, bars, hikes but most of all enjoyed meeting you both! You are a great team and we will look forward to our next trip.   Beautiful Week

  What a beautiful week! We could not have had better weather, the boat was amazing - all of the amenities you could ask for on a boat. The hike up to Rams head was well worth it, Don't let the look of the distance stop you! Snorkelling at Sal pond was great too. Lime out was great, all the tacos were very good.   Perfect Boat Trip

  We were looking for a perfect boat trip and we found it here! The boat is absolutely beautiful with all the amenities you'd find in a hotel, including private bathrooms, comfy beds, the bar was stocked with everything, and if you run out, they'll gladly get more! Chef made beautiful delicious and healthy meals that were well rounded - like ours will be now after this trip! Captain is very skilled and confident.

  Amazing Week

  Wow! What an amazing week with this fab team!  We got on the boat as a family uncomfortable on the water and left as a family who cant wait to charter again! You guys are such a great duo - so gracious and welcoming - we felt like you were family by the weeks end.
