  CAPTAIN EBEN & CHEF/MATE KATIE

  Eben grew up in South Africa in a big city but most vacations were spent in the wild bushveld. His working career started as a project manager and later on in logistics. Eben started sailing later in life and as soon as he set foot on his first boat he was hooked. He went on to become a captain and managed a sailing academy.
  Eben and Katie met on the north coast of Sicily in Milazzo in 2022 and it was love at first sight. Katie as an equestrian rider and Eben as a Captain both had a love of the water. After traveling together around Europe Eben convinced Katie to join him in the amazing world of sailing.

  Eben has been chartering around the Mediterranean and the Caribbean for the last 9 years and Katie joined him in the British Virgin Islands in 2023. As soon as you step on board you will feel at home and you can sit back relax and soak in the Caribbean sun. Whatever your needs are, whether it is diving into amazing reefs, building sand castles on the beach, or enjoying cocktails at the beach bars, Eben and Katie will have you forgetting about the world outside the islands.

  Katie was born in a small English village in the UK, her love for water and the ocean comes from the South coast of England. Her love for the ocean is matched by her love for horses as an equestrian dressage ride and her passion for cuisines from around the world. She enjoyed cooking from a young age with her mom who was a qualified chef. After completing her equine studies she worked in equine yards where she competed at a national level. She later worked at a culinary school where she further developed the skills that are incorporated into her beautiful cuisines.

  Perfect

  What a week! Thank you both for all you did Chef, you really are a talented and creative cook. Your meals are Michelin star quality in our opinion. The daily bread was delicious. Captain you are so knowledgeable and professional and a great guide…..we know you were probably meant to be a pirate! You picked the perfect Spots to anchor and the snorkelling and diving sites were fantastic. Thank you for treating us so well this week come visit us in Nashville.

  60th Birthday Celebrations

  Words cannot express how wonderful and magical this week has been. Thank you for everything you have done! Your attention to detail is beyond compare. You are incredible at your passions. Chef your personality and contagious smile, along with the most amazing dishes i've personally ever had, made all of us have the opportunity to share friendships around the table.   I’ve never had a more amazing vacation in my life! Even losing my phone couldn’t ruin the greatest trip imaginable. This week I had the greatest food I’ve ever experienced and the best planned events in the Caribbean. Thank you so much for this trip of a lifetime.

  Most Amazing Week Ever

  This has been the most amazing week ever! So much family fun, and the trip would not have been possible without the 2 of you. I have eaten the best food of my entire life! Before coming here I claimed I did not like fish but after eating chef’s food that has completely changed. We got to experience so many wonderful islands and fun experiences. I’m forever grateful. Thank you for everything. I promise I will try diving again someday.

As a girl in her 20s it’s nice to hear of your unique experiences and jobs. And you’ve certainly inspired me!   Amazing

  Just wanted to extend a heart felt thanks for an amazing trip last week! I truly can't thank you enough for an awesome experience. As this was my families 4th charter, I can truly tell you that it was our best experience. Your professionalism and sincere care for all of our needs was unmatched by any of our other charter captains. The food was exquisite and was the best we've had in the entire Caribbean; homemade bread, muffins and deserts were all magnificent not to mention the duck! Thanks again for everything and should you ever travel to Ohio (unlikely I know), you are more than welcome to stay with us. Thanks again and hope to be able to connect with you again on another charter.

  Where do I begin! This week with you both has been so special! Any time we manage to get all of our children together feels like a huge blessing and you both added so much to the experience. We were so excited to meet you and you surpassed every expectation we had. You treated us all like family and friends and we will leave tomorrow making plans to do this with you again.
