CAPTAIN BILL AND CHEF/MATE ASHLEY
Bill was born and raised in Belgium. After high school, Bill started a degree in sports management until he took a summer off to do a divemaster internship in Thailand. Soon after arriving Bill fell in love with the diving culture and being around the ocean and since then has never looked back! He went far beyond his divemaster internship and eventually became an instructor. He spent the next four years traveling and teaching diving around the beautiful islands of Asia. After a successful four years instructing countless students, Bill discovered a new passion for Sailing.
He jumped right in and followed his passion to Spain where he spent 6 months training for his Yacht Master certificate. From there, Bill moved to Australia to further his sailing career. He spent the next two years captaining a 50-foot catamaran for the number one tourist company in Australia. Here he fell in love with taking out charter guests and being around people who are taking a break from their normal lives to have some fun! Ever since Bill has been hooked on the yachting industry.
Ashley was born and raised in Tampa, Florida where she discovered her love for the ocean and watersports at a young age through snorkeling, fishing, and boating. She attended college at Florida State University where she acquired a degree in Family and Child Sciences. After a year of working at a preschool, Ashley moved to Australia to further explore her love for the ocean. There she did her dive master internship and like Bill was hooked. She went on to get her instructors as well to continue her passion for teaching. To supplement her diving income, she also worked in a high-end resort as a server and bartender where she gained valuable hospitality skills and a love for the service industry.
Ashley has always had a passion for putting on events and entertaining guests, at this resort she was able to help put on wedding receptions and make sure the guests had a special experience. Ashley loves going above and beyond to ensure guests always have an unforgettable time, especially combining her hospitality skills with her love of the ocean, which has led her to the chartering industry. Ashley is the dive instructor.

There wasn’t a detail overlooked, or an adventure missed, or a meal that wasn’t done to perfection! You went above and beyond, and yet made it look so very effortless. Your knowledge of the BVI, and all the amenities on the boat, led us to enjoy absolutely everything we wanted to in our short week… from diving to hiking, snorkeling to shelling, sup’ing to fishing, and even a little bar hopping! We fit it all in without having to make any big decisions or contemplate where we would go each day. Thank you!
The greatest gift to us was being together as a family, disconnecting from the world and getting to know and enjoy the two of you. You are so very skilled at what you do. The meals, snacks, and fancy drinks exceeded all expectation! I’m not quite sure how you pull it off in that tiny galley, and yet each meal was five star, plated to perfection, and delicious. You quietly accommodated our dietary restrictions, and not just during main course, but dessert too!

This was a bucket list trip for my husband's 40th birthday and we couldn't have picked a better crew for us and our three kiddos. We hit all the spots and the snorkeling was the best - no one wanted to get out of the water - so many fish, stingrays and octopus- CRAZY! Soggy Dollar - everyone enjoyed swimming with rain drops in the sea! - we encountered it all - it was a blast!
Captain - Thanks for navigating the seas, letting the kids drive the boat and anchoring at all the best spots! The kids loved to ask you one million questions - thanks for answering all of them!
Chef- you are incredible! I don't even know what to say to capture your attention to every meal, snack and drink- it is high end, filled with flavor and ambiance- EVERY SINGLE meal! You went above and beyond making breakfast with the kids, letting them help with dessert and even gave us a "date night" .

It has been a dream of ours to share the BVI sailing experience with our kids and the week has been filled with so many core memories. Chef, you’re cooking is a dream! Every meal was perfectly planned and we appreciate your special meals for our little Andie girl so much. The kids will never forget your cheesecake, and diving down to find them sea creatures. Captain, thank you for being so patient and sharing your knowledge of these waters and sailing. We feel like we hit the jackpot for our boat crew. I hope we’ll get to do another journey someday and wish you the best of life over these next few years as your journey continues!

So glad our friends recommended Epic - Hannah guided us through the pre-trip panning, and the crew took amazing care of us all week on! Chefs cooking was delicious - she took such good care to make sure everyone had what they needed, and we loved her creative table scapes at every meal - including a birthday surprise. Cocktails were yummy - highly recommend their Pain killers!

We super appreciate the accommodating way you managed Niams pescatarianism while still feeding me meat. Each meal made neither of us feel left out. We especially loved that amazing beach picnic, but each meal was a pleasure from the table setting all the way to dessert.
