The Greek Islands are separated into different cruising areas. Where and what islands you visit during your charter will depend on yacht speed, power or sail. The final route will be discussed with your captain and will be dependent on weather.

DAY 1

Lavrio to Kea

Once you leave the marina you will head to Kea, which is the closest Cycladic Island to Lavrio. Although not a typical Cycladic Island, Kea is exceptionally picturesque, full of history and ancient ruins. The main port town of Korissia is set along a pebbled beach cove. The buildings in the charming town are neoclassical and painted in wonderful earthy tones. You will find many good restaurants, cafes, and bars ashore if you would like to sample some local hospitality.

The stone-carved lion is one of the must-see sights in Kea. Dating back to 600BC, it is one of the oldest works of Greek sculpture.

Kea is a hiker’s paradise with an amazing system of hiking and walking trails that will take you through lovely countryside, stone paths, and past small chapels.

DAY 2

Antiparos

The island offers a laid-back atmosphere and pristine sandy beaches.

The main town, also called Antiparos, is a picturesque village with narrow streets, whitewashed houses and bougainvillea-covered courtyards. The town is built around a 15th century Venetian castle which adds to its charm and historical significance.

One of the most popular attractions is the Cave of Anti Paros, located just a short distance from the main town. This cave is a natural wonder, featuring stunning stalagmite and stalactite formations that are millions of years old.

DAY 3

Folegandros

The island features dramatic cliffs, rocky landscapes and crystal clear turquoise waters. The main village is home to quaint cafes, local shops, and traditional terns to enjoy delicious Greek cuisine. The famous Panagia Church offers panoramic views of the island and surrounding areas. It is a popular spot to catch the sunset. Visit the Georgitsi Cave which is one of the islands best attractions for its natural formation of rich anemones, colorful sponges and baby corals.

DAY 4

Kimolos

Kimolos is a small island located near to Milos. This island has a rich history dating back to ancient times and has been influenced by various civilisations, including the Greeks, Romans, Venetians and Ottomans.

The main village is a traditional settlement with narrow streets with taverns and a few shops where you can purchase homemade crafts. The picturesque port village of Psathi is also worth a visit.

DAY 5

Sifnos

Sifnos really does showcase traditional villages with Cycladic architecture. The capital of the island is Apollonian which is known for being charming with a vibrant atmosphere. Kasto is a medieval settlement but on a hilltop, offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Be sure to take the short hike to see the enigmatic Church of the Seven Martyrs. In addition to natural beauty Sifnos is renowned for its traditional gastronomy. The island is famous for chickpea soup, almond sweets and cheese pies. The seafood and mezze here are amazing.

DAY 6

Serifos

Serifos is a charming, off the beaten track destination. With its rocky landscape, lush vegetation and nature trails, this island is perfect for nature lovers. The island’s main town is Chora where the buildings, of traditional Cycladic architecture, tumble down a mountainside centered behind the harbor. Go for a stroll and visit some local bars and cafes scattered along the narrow streets in this pretty town of whitewashed houses, traditional windmills, and churches.

Serifos has some amazing beaches to visit and remains un-spoilt by mass tourism, making it the place to relax. Walk the Serifo mining trail and visit the abandoned Iron mines of Megalo Livadi. Enjoy going to the church of Agios Konstantinos, located just above the town, for stunning views of the ocean and neighboring islands.

DAY 7

Kythnos

Kythnos is calm and not as developed as other close islands. You will have the advantage of visiting some quiet beaches, beautiful landscapes, and picturesque villages. There are hikes around the island that will take you to ruined castles, chapels and beaches that remain peaceful and secluded.

Kythnos is famous for its natural thermal springs, known for their healing properties. Visit the Loutra Village, where you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot springs. Explore the charming main town and enjoy the local atmosphere while tasting some traditional local cuisine, such as Kakavia (Traditional fish soup) or Amygdalota (almond cookies). The main port town of Merichas is a small seaside village which has kept its traditional appearance and has not changed much over the years. Local tavernas will have the catch of the day waiting for you.

Visit Panagia Kanala, which is one of the best churches of Kythnos, situated in a beautiful location with panoramic views. There are many beautiful beaches that this island has to offer. Walk along Kolona beach which is a 240 meter long sandbar which connects the Island of Kythnos with the inlet of Agios Loukas.

DAY 8

Lavrio

Lavrio is a coastal town located about 60km Southeast of Athens. the town has a picturesque harbor, which serves as a hub for maritime activities. The harbor is home to a modern marina, making it a popular destination for yacht charters. There is a vibrant waterfront promenade lined with cafes, restaurants and shops where you can enjoy local cuisine and soak in the relaxed atmosphere. There are also several beaches in the vicinity, providing opportunities for swimming, sunbathing and water sports. For those interested in archaeology, Lavrio is home to he ancient site spot Thorikos, which includes ruins of an ancient theater, temples, and residential area. This is a charming place for visitors combining beauty, historical significance and modern amenities.
