KIMATA is a Fountaine-Pajot 67 sailing catamaran offering crewed yacht charters in the Greek Isles.
KIMATA is pure luxury in a catamaran her expansive flybridge with an authentic ocean terrace and a forward cockpit with a jacuzzi; are just some of her hallmark features. Experience the exhilaration of sailing or simply relaxing on the decadent lounges or sunbathing beds. Her stunning interior is boldly modern and incredibly spacious to deliver the ultimate in comfort and luxury. She accommodates 8 guests in four cabins – one owner’s suite and 3 queen bed cabins all with private bathrooms.
The flybridge together with the forward deck offers plenty of space for sunbathing and relaxing and the aft cockpit is a great area for socializing and alfresco dining. PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
- VAT and taxes
- All other daily expenses will be covered with an Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA). This is typically 25%-40% of the charter fee, which can vary according to the yacht type, itinerary, and possible charter requests and requirements. The APA payment is collected with the final balance
- APA expenses include fuel for both the yacht and tender, provisions, marina fees, moorings, airport transfers, cruising permits, canal fees, scuba diving, onshore excursions, electronic communications, and local taxes
- Your yacht will be fully fuelled and provisioned, according to your preferences, when you step onboard. The Captain will keep all receipts, along with a running log of expenses, which can be viewed at any time during your charter
- Any APA that has not been spent will be returned to you at the end of the charter. If expenses exceed the APA during your charter, additional funds will need to be submitted. Your captain will update and advise you if any further payment is required. This will need to be paid before you disembark
- Crew Gratuity is separate and is typically 10%-15% of the charter rate. This should be given to your captain at the end of your charter

CAPTAIN STAVROS
Captain Stavros, born on November 27, 1978, embarked on his sailing journey at the young age of 7, and since then, sailing has become an integral part of his life. This early initiation has provided him with extensive experience, allowing him to actively participate in numerous sailboat racing events and regattas. With a solid foundation as a sailing instructor, Captain Dritsas prioritizes the safety of Guests, Crew, and the vessel above all else. His exceptional engineering skills, coupled with a background as a mechanic-electrician, provide him with the expertise to address and assist in mechanical operations on board. Known for his high adaptability to various situations and demands, he maintains excellent communication with both guests and his crew.
CHEF THEMIS
Themis, born in 1991 and a graduate of Le Monde Athens Institute, is a passionate and hardworking individual with more than 12 years of experience in the hospitality and restaurant sector. With a solid foundation of three years in the yachting industry, he has honed his skills as a sous and head chef in various establishments across Athens, Santorini, and Rhodes. Themis eagerly anticipates welcoming guests on board Kimata and sharing his culinary expertise, particularly in Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. Fluent in English and unfailingly polite, Themis possesses a lovable personality, ensuring that he will go above and beyond to create unforgettable vacation experiences for all.
DECKHAND NIKOS
Nikos was born in 1974 in Athens, Greece where he lives today with his wife and family. For 9 years, he owned a restaurant in Athens and has also worked as a Sous Chef. His sailing experience began in 1993- he holds both his sailing and motorboat licenses. With his passion for the sea, he joined the yachting world a few seasons ago as a deckhand and this year is his second season on board Kimata. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family, cook, play basketball, and head off sailing with friends.

It is not often that your planning lives up to expectations but this crew certainly made our daily memories exceeded any and all for our group. On board the food and dining was amazing, each and every meal every day, but the final lookout which included a freshly caught yellowfin tuna, along with grilled meat and vegetables was delectable and fun as we enjoyed Greek music and dancing with our new friends of the crew. This was our first yachting experience but it won’t be our last.

The Boat became our home for two weeks and the crew our extended family. They catered for every need with kindness, and thoughtfulness and always with a smile. Captain organised everything so smoothly and we felt completely safe with him at the helm. The personalised and stunning dining created by the chef was superb - Greek food like we’ve never experienced before. The hospitality was excellent shon from the steward was mesmerising and our individual drink preferences and bar chat, sharing knowledge of Greece was delightful. What a team. Nothing was too much trouble. It was simply the most wonderful Trip. Thank you.

In practical terms the daily routines folded around our whims and requirements. There is nothing we lacked except more time on board when our two weeks came to an end.

The crew were the highlight - professional, warm, and welcoming. We felt safe and secure under their stewardship. They struck the right balance of safety and the scope to have fun. We were given scope to choose our routine and places to visit which was most welcome. Every meal was prepared to a high standard with cries of delight and applause! We were even asked to choose our favourite dishes - absolutely amazing. The holiday was incredible. The places we visited, the weather and the joy and laughter, with everyone, including the crew. We cannot recommend this experience high enough and look forward to the opportunity of a return the voyage.
