BAGHEERA is a 62 ft Lagoon sailing catamaran that accommodates 8 guests in 4 queen cabins.
BAGHEERA has 4 ensuite spacious cabins to sleep 8 guests. The vertical saloon windows offer not only a spectacular view from inside the yacht, but they give the yacht a feeling of being outside. There is seating for 8 people both in the salon and the aft deck dining alfresco. The fully opening sliding doors make the main salon and the aft deck flow together.

CAPTAIN BEN & CHEF/MATE ASHLEY (AUGUST 1 – MARCH 16, 2025)
From the UK, Ben is a well-traveled, highly motivated charter yacht captain whose passion for sailing has taken him to some of the most beautiful locations accessible by boat. His RYA MCA Yacht Masters 200T was obtained off the south coast of the UK in the waters of the English Channel. Having also spent many years in Ecotourism in the Whitsunday islands on the Great Barrier Reef, Ben has a great understanding of the ocean and all of its creatures. Sailing the waters of the British Virgin Islands for 2 seasons has given Ben amazing local knowledge of the area and its conditions.
Ben has an excitement that ensures each charter transcends general expectations and gives guests a unique and unforgettable experience on the water. From showing you the most exclusive locations above and below the water he can take you on a truly special vacation. On board with Ben and his crew, you can expect nothing less than the highest quality food, drink, adventure, and service. It is important for all crew members that your charter vacation holds a special memory for all included.
Born and raised in Louisiana, Ashley grew up on soul food and southern hospitality. With her grandparents being travel agents, she started traveling at a young age, which sparked her interest for exploring other cultures and cuisines. After graduating university in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science, Ashley became an au pair on the coast of Italy where she was introduced to the Yachting Industry. Since then, she has been a chef on charters and deliveries in various places such as Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, French Polynesia and the Virgin Islands. Her love of travel has brought her to over 50 countries, including England where she received her Culinary Certification from the Ashburton Chefs Academy and attended the well-known Galley Gang course. She also enjoys attending cooking classes all over the world, so guests are guaranteed a trip around the globe with Chef Ashley’s dishes.
Ashley’s love for learning doesn’t stop in the galley. You can find her in the water as a PADI Rescue Diver and is working towards Divemaster. She’s also studying to becoming a nutritionist, so colorful, nutritious meals will be served up daily.
Her love for food and the water grows with each season spent in the VI’s, and she can’t wait to create some unforgettable experiences for her guests.CAPTAIN ALEX & CHEF/MATE CARLA (MARCH 17 – OCTOBER 16, 2025)
Alex loves to be on the ocean and he shares his passion with anyone who sets foot on Bagheera. His expertise in sailing is coupled with a detailed understanding of the Caribbean Islands and knowledge of little-known beautiful spots. Sailing is second nature to Alex. He learned to sail at the age of 6 and as a teenager, he raced across the Atlantic on, a 74-foot ketch. This set the course of his career (as a captain). He has sailed over 260 000 miles including 15 ocean crossings on a variety of vessels. For 12 years, Alex ran a 140 Topsail Schooner on a first-class private charter.
Alex holds an MCA/RYA Master Ocean Certification (commercially endorsed) and PADI Advanced Open Water Dive Certification and has extensive knowledge of not only what makes yachts run well but also what makes vacations fun with lasting lifetime memories. He is experienced, friendly, fun, committed to first-class service, and always at your service. Together Alex and Carla represent over 20 years in the charter business and over 10 years in high-end culinary service.Carla’s culinary creations reflect her dynamic personality and joy of connecting with people.
Her menu offers mouth-watering delights from around the world, prepared from fresh local products and presented with a unique flair. She skillfully pairs each plate with wine to ensure a well-rounded dining experience. Carla has always loved to cook, helping out in restaurants in her youth back in Italy. Her creations are part Italian home cooking and fine French dining contrasted with exotic Thai cuisine. Her passion for food led her to obtain her formal training at Ashburton Culinary College, London England.
Before meeting Alex, Carla worked on several Super Yachts in Europe where she hosted the famous, wealthy, and business elite.
Carla is a lifelong learner, continuously challenging herself to broaden her spectrum of food. To this end, she has expanded her scrumptious repertoire with specialist courses in Vegan food, Indian cuisine, and Kosher considerations. She thrills her guests’ pallets with sophisticated nutritious foods with a unique twist creating a fusion of geography or a juxtaposition of traditional and modern. Carla has been certified in Food Safety and Hygiene (level 3 ) in the UK and Service and Etiquette at the Flight Attendant School for Aerosul- Brazil.STEWARD RENE

The boat is so well equipped and we made use of all the sea toys on offer. We spent a lot of time in the water!! The route and venues meant that we saw and stayed at some beautiful places - so we have some stunning pics to share with family and friends. The crew ensured that we got our snorkelling done in some good spots and that we did just right amount of sailing each day on our route. The chef prepared us fulsome breakfasts which set us up for the day and lovely varied dinners which we were ashamed not tto finish sometimes, such were the generous portions. The deck hand, was very attentive and kept us plied with drinks and the crew conjured up some great cocktails. All in all, we had a memorable time.

The boat is super well maintained and we love the contemporary feel in it’s appointments. The crew are so professional and organized. The meals should be featured on a cooking show ! The captain sailed us everywhere with such ease and efficiency. Our stew was amazingly attentive to everyone’s needs. We saw and did more then we anticipated; stopped in at all the famous watering holes, looked for buried treasure, and enjoyed the stunning views of the BVI. It was certainly a “bucket list trip” .
Thank you so much for all you did for us !!January 2022 Charter Guests-FriendsFeb 13, 2022Loved Being LazyThe yacht was beautiful and the crew were constantly cleaning and making sure it was clean and in great shape. Sometimes on boats things get a little moldy or whatever but I never saw that. They did have rules they wanted us to follow about where we could sit when we were wet and where was off limits, so I’m sure that helps keep it nicer. And no red wine inside – great rule on their part! They had lots of fun toys, but we mostly lazed around and floated. They got one of those power surfboards the day we left, so more fun toys. The captain was great about explaining how to use them, getting it set up, cleaning it up. It was a lot of work for him! The BVI was beautiful, but we were surprised how uncrowded pretty much everything was except for Jost Van Dyke. I asked if that was covid and was told it was the hurricane in 2017 and then covid. Everything is still recovering. We did find a couple fun places to dance and party where there were other people, but it was a pretty chill trip (except for Willy T Sunday night escapade lol). Expectations? That’s so hard because none of us really knew what to expect. We loved the laziness of the days and the ease of having everything right at our fingertips for food and drink. They had a lot of great toys and the crew, again, was fantastic. If I did it again I would pack even less than I did for sure. We bought quite a few t-shirts and outside of swimsuits that’s basically what I wore every night.
January 2022 Charter Guests-FriendsJan 13, 2022Meals-WOWMeals – WOW!!! The chef was an amazing cook. She also remembered Jo Ann’s aversions (any meat but pork, runny eggs, etc.) and sometimes had something different for her or made sure there were substantial sides if we had something like chicken or beef. We ate like kings and queens. Our stewerdess was super nice, always trying to make sure we had what we wanted. I think we only ate one or two meals off the yacht. Other than that we had three amazing meals every day. And I have an extra 5lb to prove it, which I rarely gain on regular cruises.

The crew host a absolutely wonderful week with exceptional food, lots of fun and all on such a nice new yacht. I cant compare our trip to other boats Bagheera was so clean and well maintained it really blew us away. The trip far exceeded our expectations!!!

March 2022 Charter GuestsMar 5, 2022First Charter.....Not The LastThis was my first sailing/chartering experience and I can definitely say that it won't be the last! The crew made this the best vacation I've ever had. Being a foodie, the chef blew me away with her cooking skills, and never having dived before the captain made me feel like a natural. If anyone is on the fence about diving, go for it! Between the colorful reefs, sharks, and beautiful ocean, it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. To the crew - thank you so much for your incredible hospitality, sharing your love for the water, and for an all around amazing week. I really enjoyed getting to know both of you! Until next time...
Charter Guests-2 couplesOct 10, 2020Like A 5 Star HotelWe spent a week aboard. The captain is extremely professional and knows the keys like his backyard. He showed us many remote spots that we would not have been able to visit any other way. We anchored in the most spectacular settings far away from anyone else. We spent hours snorkeling and kayaking, and swimming before breakfast. The chef cooked us incredible delicacies with fresh ingredients and surprised us with different meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. She also surprised us with great cocktails after activities and even cooked a birthday cake for our friend. The creative and artistic way she presented the food made us feel like being spoiled in a 5 star hotel. We were two couples and we each had our own cabin with private bathroom. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us plus 2 crew and the chef kept the boat spotless throughout the entire trip. They are amazing hosts and we cannot recommend them highly enough
